In an industry dominated by fast fashion we are committed to providing footwear that is made to last. We believe that businesses have a vital role in creating a sustainable future. We are committed to responsible sourcing which allows us to create our products more sustainably. And there is more!

At Perlie, we believe it is our social responsibility to provide support for good causes. For every purchase, Perlie donates an amount to carefully selected charities. Through our social program we aim to positively affect the lives of those in need and reduce the environmental impact of our operations and supply chain across energy, emissions and (production) waste. Together we can make a difference.

PRODUCTION IN EUROPE

All Perlie shoes are handmade in Portugal. Made in Western Europe stands for a safe working environment and fair wages. In addition, producing close to our main markets means that the environmental impact of transportation is limited. In fact, all of our product’s components are produced in Western Europe only.

Our partner is a family-owned third-generation shoe workshop that shares our love for quality and detail. It’s through the combination of our vision and their crafsmanship that we can provide our customers with the ultimate comfort, quality and style that Perlie stands for.

RESOURCES

The leather used for our shoes comes from carefully selected tanneries in Italy with great attention to limiting our environmental impact. All our (velvet) shoe boxes, wrapping paper, notes and invoices are produced from recycled paper or recycled cardboard. With our social program we strive to further limit our environmental impact by investing sustainably in the future. We take all the necessary steps to ensure our operational emission is minimized.

Due to the outstanding quality of our sources, we are able to provide high quality shoes that are durably build to last. We choose style over fashion, timeless design that can be worn for years to come. After all, it is also in our best interest to provide high quality shoes that our customers buy time after time.
